
One of the two local boys selected to participate in the WIAA 3-Point Challenge earned a top-three finish over the weekend.
Roncalli Senior Matthew Bonin finished third out of ten participants at the Kohl Center in Madison Saturday morning.
He netted 13 points in the first round and 16 in the second. Karson Osterman of Pewaukee was named the winner, with a 19-point second round, two points better than runner-up Cade Felch of D.C. Everest.
Manitowoc Lutheran junior Will Franzen also participated, as did Brayden Smith of Elkhart Lake-Glenbeulah and Ashwaubenon junior Elijah Fenner.
