Groups in Sheboygan County are joining forces to raise money and awareness for autism.
The 11th annual Kiwanis Club Fun Run/Walk for Autism will take place in Sheboygan Falls on April 26th in partnership with the Sheboygan Falls YMCA.
The 5K event will coincide with National Autism Awareness Month in April. The event is set to begin at River Park and will begin with a youth run/walk at 8:30 a.m. with the 5K starting at 9:00 a.m.
All proceeds from the 5K will directly support children on the autism spectrum throughout Sheboygan County.
Entry to participate will be free for those aged 10 years or younger, $10 for those ages 11 to 17, and $25 for participants 18 years or older.
Anyone interested in supporting those with autism and their families can sign up online by visiting the Kiwanis Club of Greater Sheboygan‘s Facebook page.
