
Sheboygan Lutheran put up a good fight but fell short in the Division 5 Boys State Basketball Championship Saturday (March 22nd).
The Crusaders were down 34-28 at the half and put up 26 points in the second half, but so did Cochrane-Fountain City, giving the Pirates a 60-54 win.
Brennen Hackbarth led the way for Lutheran, netting 26 points and 11 rebounds, while Zach Leonhard and Oliver Leibahm each added 7 points.
Aquinas claimed the Division 4 title with a 74-45 win over Bonduel, while Milwaukee Academy of Science snuck by Freedom 57-54 in the D-3 championship.
In Division 2, Wauwatosa West took down Racine Park 60-57, while Wisconsin Lutheran edged out Marshfield in the Division 1 matchup, 57-55.
