A SWAT team incident in Manitowoc early this morning ended peacefully.
Lieutenant Bruce Tuma of the Manitowoc Police reports they were called at about one this morning to a residence in the 1300 block of South 9th Street.
A 55-year-old Manitowoc man had barricaded himself in his home.
Efforts to talk the man out were unsuccessful and police forced entry and took him into custody without incident.
He is currently in the Manitowoc County Jail facing charges of Fleeing/Eluding an Officer, 2nd Degree Recklessly Endangering Safety, Resisting an Officer, and Misdemeanor Bail Jumping.
Police say there is no danger to the public.
