
A series of shootings over the weekend in Milwaukee left two people dead and several others wounded, including a child and a teenager.
Police reported that the first incident took place near 12th and Locust, injuring a 16-year-old.
The second shooting killed a 42-year-old man and injured a 47-year-old.
Another shooting near 38th and Burleigh left an 8-year-old child injured, and a fourth incident injured a 51-year-old, with few details available.
The fifth shooting, on Saturday near 14th and Atkinson, claimed the life of a 46-year-old and left a 39-year-old with non-fatal injuries.
Two additional non-fatal shootings occurred near 3rd and Concordia, and 26th and Capitol.
