A local Sheboygan brewery had a busy weekend, including the launch of two new products.
3 Sheeps Brewing hosted a release party on Saturday (March 21st) for a new beer named Shorts and Hoodies, a celebration of equally mild and chilly Wisconsin springs.
In addition to the release party, a shorts and hoodies fashion show was held to “embrace the awkwardness” of this time of year’s temperatures.
Additionally, on Saturday, the 3 Sheeps limited-edition root beer was officially launched, highlighted by a custom label designed by Sheboygan South art students Koi Vang and Evelyn Meyer.
The root beer is available at the 3 Sheeps taproom, and every dollar made from the four packs of root beer will go directly back to the South High Art Department.
The busy weekend for the brewery was capped off by the announcement of a partnership with Briess Malt and Ingredients of Manitowoc.
Briess asked 3 Sheeps to test new, experimental malts, which have produced Lighthouse Pils and Heritage Lager, two never-before-seen beverages available in their taproom.
