Ascend Services is getting excited for one of its most popular fundraisers.
The 6th Annual Throw With All Your Heart Fundraiser is scheduled for Saturday, April 12, at Tapped on the Lakeshore in Two Rivers.
As one of the nonprofit organization’s signature events, every dollar raised will go directly toward supporting the nonprofit’s mission to empower individuals with all abilities.
This lively, team-based event will feature five thrilling competitions: axe throwing, golf, hammerschlagen, shuffleboard, and cornhole.
A standout highlight of the day is the Celebrity Axe Throwing Competition, where seven local figures will go head-to-head.
The list of local celebrities includes Manitowoc Mayor Justin Nickels, MPU General Manager Troy Adams, Lighthouse Recovery Executive Director Jason Latva, Manitowoc Alderman Chad Beeman, Nicolet National Bank Senior Vice President Bob Seal, Manitowoc Fire Chief Todd Blaser, and Alex Hunt, the Executive Director of The Haven.
For a $5 entry fee, attendees can challenge these local celebrities to a friendly competition and compete for ultimate bragging rights.
