A school district in Sheboygan County is looking to fill a vacancy on its school board.
The Elkhart Lake-Glenbeulah School District has announced that a seat on their board has become open and an individual is needed to fill the seat until the term is complete in April of 2026.
In order to be considered for the vacancy, an individual must be a district resident.
Interested candidates are required to attend the April 21st School Board meeting at the high school learning center.
Candidates will have five minutes to introduce themselves and discuss with current members.
These discussions will include topics such as qualifications and why they are interested.
After this April 21st meeting, the School Board will then determine who will be selected as the interim member.
Anyone interested in the vacancy or with questions regarding the open spot on the board is asked to contact District Administrator Adam Englebretson by April 14th.
