Fresh off the heels of the Boys State Basketball Tournament, many local and area spring sports teams are slated for action this week.
Mishicot and Kiel track and field teams are traveling to Rippon College today (March 25th) to participate in a 21-school meet, which will also feature Ashwaubenon, Little Chute, Green Bay Preble, and New Holstein.
After a quiet Wednesday, the Manitowoc Lincoln Boys track team will host thirteen other schools at the JFK Fieldhouse on Thursday, including Manitowoc Lutheran, Mishicot, Roncalli, Two Rivers, Chilton, Kewaunee, Luxemburg-Casco, Plymouth, Sheboygan Falls, and Appleton East.
Also Thursday, Two Rivers is hosting Manitowoc Lutheran for a girls softball game, which will be played at Vietnam Memorial Park, while Mishicot softball begins its season in Pigeon Forge Tennessee.
They will face Manchester on Thursday, Xavieran on Friday, and Abingdon on Saturday.
Closing out the work week on Friday, Manitowoc Lincoln Girls Track will play host to the same schools the boys did the day before while Manitowoc Lutheran softball invades Valders.
