A man from Fond du Lac County will be spending some time behind bars for voter fraud.
Court records show that 67-year-old Martin Kehl was in court on Monday (March 24th) as he faced one felony count of Election Fraud-Illegal Voting.
Kehl was convicted Monday (March 24th) of the lone charge he faced after entering a no-contest plea.
The 67-year-old was sentenced to spend seven days behind bars at the Fond du Lac County Jail in addition to being ordered to pay a $1,500 fine after he illegally voted in the November 2022 election.
WBAY reports that at the time of the 2022 election, Kehl was serving an OWI probation sentence, thus disqualifying him from voting.
