
A man from Fond du Lac has been sentenced to prison for his role in a 2021 murder.
31-year-old Eric Perry was sentenced to spend 50 years in prison, followed by 20 years on extended supervision at his sentencing hearing on Monday (March 24th).
Perry was previously convicted due to no contest pleas on charges of Second-Degree Intentional Homicide, Armed Robbery with the Use of Force, and Possession of a Firearm by a Convicted Felon.
Perry and 25-year-old Julius Freeman were arrested by police in Fond du Lac after the two stole money and a weapon from Benzel Rose before Perry fatally shot him in the head on October 17th, 2021.
Freeman was found guilty of killing Rose during a 2023 jury trial.
The 25-year-old is currently serving a mandatory life in prison term for First-Degree Intentional Homicide.
