Authorities in Green Bay arrested a man who was threatening officers with a knife.
The Green Bay Police Department has shared that in the early morning hours of last Friday (March 21st), officers observed a vehicle driving recklessly Downtown.
A traffic stop was initiated but the driver fled, and a brief pursuit ensued.
With the utilization of pursuit intervention techniques, the police chase ended shortly after it began.
However, after the vehicle was stopped, the unidentified driver left the vehicle and brandished a knife.
The suspect then started making threats toward officers, who were eventually able to handle and resolve the situation while avoiding injuries to the suspect, the public, or themselves.
The suspect was placed under arrest and charged with OWI, among other charges related to the incident.
