
The 2025 high school girls’ softball season opens today (March 27th) for many area teams.
Manitowoc Lincoln is at Fond Du Lac, Two Rivers hosts Manitowoc Lutheran, and Mishicot opens against Manchester, Ohio, as part of the Ripken Experience in Pigeon Forge, Tennessee.
Meanwhile, Laconia and Ashwaubenon are also in Pigeon Forge.
The Spartans play Chardon, Ohio, and the Jaguars take on Northmont of Clayton, Ohio.
Elsewhere, Denmark has a game at Du Pont Manual High School of Louisville Kentucky, Notre Dame (Green Bay) is at Fort Walton Beach Florida to play Jay High School, the co-op of Green Bay West/East visits Plymouth, Chilton plays a doubleheader at Southern Door, New Holstein hosts Luxemburg Casco, West De Pere plays Oshkosh West and West Allis Hale/Central in The Dome at UW-Oshkosh, Kewaunee visits Bonduel and Medford battles Wrightstown in The Danny Mac Softball Classic at The Hodag Dome in Rhinelander.
Meanwhile, the Manitowoc Lincoln Boys Track and Field Team opens their indoor season this afternoon as they host the Earl Herbert Invitational at The JFK Fieldhouse.
Besides the Ships, teams scheduled to compete include Roncalli, Manitowoc Lutheran, Two Rivers, Mishicot, Sheboygan Falls, Plymouth, Kewaunee, Chilton, Luxemburg Casco, Appleton East, Ozaukee, Winnebago Lutheran Academy of Fond Du Lac and Kingdom Prep Lutheran of Wauwatosa.
