The woman convicted of the murder and dismemberment of a Green Bay man is competent to stand trial in another case.
Fox 11 reports that Taylor Schabusiness was found competent to stand trial for charges involving an attack on a prison guard at Taycheedah Correctional, where she’s serving a life sentence.
According to a criminal complaint, Schabusiness lunged at the corrections officer after she needed to get a staple out of her arm.
She was holding on to a metal tray before she was pepper sprayed and taken away.
She was convicted in 2023 of first-degree intentional homicide, mutilating a corpse, and third-degree sexual assault in the death of Shad Thyrion.
She now faces one charge of battery by a prisoner.
