A 17-year-old Wisconsin teen has officially been charged in connection with the deaths of his mother and stepfather.
Nikita Casap faces nine charges related to the murders of Donald Mayer and Tatiana Casap, whose bodies were found in their Waukesha County home.
Authorities say Casap was apprehended over 800 miles away in Kansas after being pulled over by police.
A firearm and the family dog were found in the vehicle.
Casap is scheduled for a preliminary hearing in court next month.
