Numerous area middle and high school students were recently honored at the 2025 Education Awards reception.
The award event, held by the Daughters of the American Revolution’s Fond du Lac Chapter, recognized select students with Good Citizen Awards.
The Education Awards were held last week and featured Fond du Lac Police Chief Aaron Goldstein as the guest speaker.
Abigail G, a Chilton Middle School student, was selected as the winner of the American History Essay Contest.
Other students who were honored with Good Citizen Awards included high schoolers Luis Garcia of Horace Mann, Kendra Zahn from Chilton, and Derick Lira of Valders High School.
Daughters of the American Revolution is a community-based service organization that promotes American history education for students and teachers alike.
