Green Bay teenagers have been arrested after a shooting incident in Marinette County.
The Marinette County Dispatch Center received numerous calls on Thursday (March 27th) just before 3:00 a.m., reporting gunshots near Cottage Row and Hattie Street in the City of Marinette.
Officers with the Marinette Police Department responded to the scene, and initial investigations found that a nearby residence was struck by gunfire.
It was also determined that the gunshots were the result of a disturbance between two groups of people at the home.
A short time later, 17-year-old and 19-year-old males from Green Bay were located in the 2700 block of Doran Street in Oconto.
They were subsequently linked to the shooting and arrested.
The two Green Bay teens, along with another 19-year-old female from Oconto are now awaiting charges from the Marinette County District Attorney’s Office.
Marinette PD has chosen to withhold the names of the suspects until formal charges are officially filed.
Those assisting in the response to the shooting included the Green Bay Police Department, Wisconsin State Patrol, Marinette County Sheriff’s Office, Marinette Police Department’s Joint Special Response Team, Menominee Police Department, Oconto County Sheriff’s Office, and Oconto Police Department.
