Hours are changing again at the Manitowoc County Recycling Center.
Operations Manager Jon Reisenbuechler explains that beginning tomorrow (April 1st), the Basswood Road and Woodland Drive compost sites will have new hours.
The Basswood site will be open from 7:00 am to 6:00 pm Monday through Friday and Saturdays from 8:00 am until 6:00 pm.
The Woodland Drive compost site will be open Monday through Friday from 10:00 am to 6:00 pm and Saturdays from 8:00 am until 6:00.
Also starting this Saturday (April 5th), the hours for the Recycling Offices’ main hours will be from 7:00 am to 4:00 pm Monday through Friday and Saturdays from 8:00 am to noon.
Items accepted at the sites include brush, branches, leaves, garden waste, and weeds among others.
Some items not accepted include logs and stumps, treated or untreated lumber, sand or other rocks, or construction and demolition waste.
