A Manitowoc teen is facing charges after an alleged physical assault of another teenager.
The School Resource Officer at a local high school was made aware of the incident on March 24th as the victim asked to speak with them.
During the meeting, the victim explained that the 17-year-old suspect became upset when the victim refused to have sex with him. He reportedly smashed the victim’s phone, berated them, and dragged them around a residence by their hair.
A search of the victim’s phone revealed numerous derogatory text messages sent by the suspect, including several threatening violence if they were to go to the police.
The suspect has since been arrested on charges of Physical Abuse of a Child, Intimidation of a Victim, Criminal Damage to Property, Disorderly Conduct, and Misdemeanor Bail Jumping.
