
The votes have been counted, and there will be two new members of the Manitowoc Common Council.
The District 1 seat will be filled by Andrew Dunbar, who knocked off incumbent Brett Vanderkin by only 27 votes.
District 7 will also have new representation, as Brian Anderson was uncontested.
In District 3, Michael Cummings retained his seat with a 477 to 397 win over Angela Myers, while Chad Beeman and Todd Reckelberg were uncontested in Districts 2 and 10, respectively.
In Two Rivers, it was a very tight race, but in the end, the three incumbents retained their seats. Scott Stechmesser received the most votes with 1,999, followed by Tim Petri with 1,894.
The battle for the third at large sat was determined by only 16 votes, with Bill LeClair receiving 1,632 votes, edging out Jeff Dahlke.
The fifth candidate, Andre Robitaille, ended the day with 1,223 votes.
