The Supreme Court race in Wisconsin comes to a head today as voters hit the polls.
The race between Susan Crawford and Brad Schimel has been hotly contested and has become the most expensive Supreme Court race in Wisconsin history.
Part of the reason for that is the money coming from politicians outside of the state for both sides.
Investor George Soros and Illinois Governor JB Pritzker have donated millions to the Crawford campaign, while Elon Musk donated millions to the Schimel camp.
We spoke with Wisconsin Congressman Glenn Grothman this morning, who was not ok with the outside influence.
“We have the governor of Illinois, who’s wildly wealthy, hundreds of millions of dollars weighing in on this race,” he told SeehaferNews.com. “I don’t think we have to let the governor of Illinois, Mr. Pritzker, determine who our Supreme Court justice is.”
When questioned about the Elon Musk rally in Green Bay on Sunday, the Glenbeulah native admitted there is a lot of money coming from both sides, but said, “I’m more concerned about the governor of Illinois weighing in than Elon Musk and more worried about George Soros weighing in because I think they are either bad people or represent hard left wing ideologies.”
As for Musk, Grothman said, “I think he wants a strong America and to get back to traditional America’s roots.”
Also on the ballot is a referendum question that asks if the voter ID law should be added to the constitution. The results of today’s election will be posted tonight at SeehaferNews.com.
