Earlier Story:
A crash on Interstate 43 in Manitowoc County this morning (April 2nd ) has been causing some traffic problems.
An announcement from the Manitowoc County Sheriff’s Office and Wisconsin DOT announced that all northbound lanes are closed on US Highway 10 or County Highway JJ after the accident happened around 7:12 am.
Although information is scarce about what caused the accident, rain is coming down on the roads.
Traffic is detoured from US Highway 151 to County Road R or Rapids Road.
Traffic will then go from Rapids Road to County Highway JJ and back to I-43.
When we learn more, we’ll have more information about when I-43 opens and what happened with the accident.
