Police in Green Bay are investigating a two-vehicle car accident that injured multiple people.
The Green Bay Police Department was called to the intersection of Velp and Wilson Avenues on Tuesday (April 1st) just before 7:00 p.m.
Officers arriving on the scene quickly discovered the accident involved two vehicles that collided head-on.
As a result of the collision, three occupants of the two vehicles sustained significant injuries and are currently receiving medical treatment at a local hospital.
At this time, the cause of the crash is unknown and under investigation.
The head-on collision caused a closure at the intersection as emergency response crews and law enforcement worked to help those injured and to investigate.
