The Manitowoc County Health Department reminds families to protect their kids through timely vaccines.
Adolescent Immunization Action Week starts next week on Monday (April 7th).
The week encourages families to prioritize their teens’ health by scheduling well-visits and ensuring they receive recommended vaccines.
Manitowoc County Health Officer Korina Aghmar tells SeehaferNews.com, “By staying up to date on vaccines, teens are protecting themselves and their communities from serious illnesses.”
The health department recommends getting a vaccine for several diseases, including HPV, tetanus, diphtheria, and whooping cough.
