Charges have now been filed against a Manitowoc man accused of sexually assaulting a child.
The investigation into Kiran S. White began on March 26th when Child Protective Services filed a report with the Manitowoc Police Department.
The victim’s mother, Stephanie White, claimed she had conducted “her own investigation” into her child’s claim and determined nothing happened.
However, the victim told the Sheboygan Lakeshore Child Advocacy Center that Kiran had sexually abused her at least twenty times over the past five to ten years, and that he had watched pornography with the child in an attempt to “copy” what was done in the videos.
He admitted to at least two instances of sexual contact with the child, and told investigators that he had “come clean” to Stephanie prior to the investigation.
Kiran is now facing charges of Engaging in Repeated Acts of Sexual Assault of the Same Child, 1st and 2nd Degree Sexual Assault of a Child, Incest with a Child, Child Enticement, and Causing a Child to View or Listen to Sexual Activity.
Stephanie is free on a $15,000 recognizance bond on charges of Neglecting a Child Resulting in a Child Sex Offense and Neglecting a Child Resulting in Emotional Damage.
