Kiran Sanford is continuing her phenomenal softball career, as she hurled a no-hitter for Mishicot over the weekend.
Her 9 strike out performance helped lead the Indians to a 6-0 win over Lomira, with the only blemishes being a pair of walks and a fielding error.
The offense gave her a lot of help early as the Indians plated four runs in the first inning. They added one run each in the 6th and 7th innings to secure the win.
Karsyn Krause had a dominant day at the plate Saturday (April 5th), accounting for 3 of her team’s 9 hits, however, Kaelin Adair was responsible for batting in three of their runs, while Sierra Skarda knocked home a pair.
The win pushes the Indians to 1-2 on the season as they get ready for their first home game of the season.
Elkhart Lake-Glenbeulah will invade Mishicot this evening for the Resorters’ first game of the season, and will host the Indians on Thursday.
