
Mishicot senior Kieran Sanford tosses her second consecutive complete-game no-hitter Monday as The Indians shut out Elkhart Lake/ Glenbeluah 11 to 0 in five innings in Big East conference softball in Mishicot.
The Indians scored seven runs in the first two innings and added four in the fourth to put the game away.
Sanford faced just two batters above the minimum. She threw 66 pitches, 44 for strikes and struck out 13 of the 17 hitters she faced to improve to 3 and 2 on the season.
Kaelin Adair had another big game offensively for Mishicot, going 3 for 3 with an RBI and three runs scored.
Kasey Brochoud added two hits and three RBI’s, Cooper Brouchoud and Emma Schmidt had two hits each and Sanford also chipped in with two runs batted in.
Mishicot improves to 3 and 2 on the season and will travel to Elkhart Lake to meet The Resorters again on Thursday afternoon.
The first pitch is scheduled to be thrown at 4:30 p.m.
