A man has been sentenced to ten years in prison after imprisoning his two children and wife for several years.
Joel Manke was arrested in July 2023 and has now received his sentence.
His wife, Katie Koch, was also sentenced to ten years for her involvement.
The two children, aged 7 and 9 at the time, managed to escape the house in 2023, with neighbors witnessing the children running outside and contacting authorities.
The children had been confined to a bedroom with boarded-up windows.
They will be released when they turn 18.
