
The trial for a man charged in a fatal high-speed crash in Allouez has been delayed.
FOX11 reports that attorneys for 23-year-old Kelton Snulligan asked to move his trial, which was scheduled to start in August, due to of a conflict with another case in Illinois.
Prosecutors have not responded, but the issue could be discussed at a May 2nd status conference.
Snulligan faces 16 charges, including two counts of homicide by intoxicated use of a vehicle, 2nd-degree reckless homicide, causing injury while operating under the influence, and 2nd-degree recklessly endangering safety, among others.
According to police, he was driving at a high rate of speed and crashed into another vehicle in the 2200 block of South Webster Avenue in July 2023.
The impact killed the driver of the other car, Luis Rios-Alvarado, and Snulligan’s passenger, Trevor Hermon.
Four others including, Snulligan, were injured in the crash.
