The application period has opened for the Sheboygan Junior Police Academy.
The Sheboygan Police Department has shared that there will be two summer sessions for the academy that will be open to those in grades six through eight.
Session one will be held from June 23rd to June 27th, while session two runs from July 14th through July 18th.
The Junior Police Academy allows participants to learn about police operations, traffic stops, crime scene investigations, and much more over the five days.
The department believes that, while not every attendee will want to become an officer, it will instill a sense of achievement and confidence in all who participate.
