After attacking their attorney, an individual in prison for murder has had a court date set for separate charges.
27-year-old Taylor Schabusiness, who is serving life in prison for First-Degree Intentional Homicide, will be back in court in Fond du Lac County on May 29th after her last appearance was cut short after she attacked her lawyer, Curtis Julka.
The hearing would continue via video conference later in the day with Schabusiness entering a not guilty plea to the charge of Battery of Prisoners after she allegedly attacked a prison guard at Taycheedah Correctional Institution, where she is serving her life sentence.
The 27-year-old was previously found guilty of First-Degree Intentional Homicide, Mutilating a Corpse, and Third-Degree Sexual Assault for the gruesome murder of Shad Thyrion in 2022.
Her outburst in court last week was not her first as she notably attacked another attorney in 2023 during court proceedings related to her murder charges.
