
A Fond du Lac man was arrested in Oshkosh after a human trafficking investigation involving a juvenile female.
Oshkosh Police explained that detectives arrested the 26-year-old in the 200 block of West 20th Avenue Tuesday (April 8th) after he allegedly communicated with a police officer posing as a female victim to meet for sex.
Oshkosh Detectives learned through the investigation that the man had met up with the actual victim on several different occasions in the past for the purpose of sexual acts.
The 26-year-old is now facing charges including soliciting a child for prostitution and three counts of human trafficking of a child.
A search warrant was also issued for the suspect’s residence located in Fond du Lac County.
Oshkosh Police say numerous electronic devices were seized.
OPD tells the public that they remain steadfast in their unwavering commitment in combatting human trafficking and continue to work diligently to investigate cries of the nature, especially when it involves a juvenile.
