The Green Bay Packers have announced a new partnership with Verizon that goes beyond just cell phone services.
The partnership between the two organizations was announced in Milwaukee as part of the Tailgate Tour, which revealed that they will be joining forces on numerous endeavors, including tackling veteran debt relief.
The Green and Gold and Verizon have committed $3 million to a debt relief initiative for veterans in the state over the next two years with the first $1 million in relief to be administered in the coming weeks.
Verizon’s Great Lakes Market President has said, “Forgiving debt is a tangible way to honor their service and sacrifice. We recognize the burdens our veterans carry, and through partnerships like this, we aim to make a life-changing impact.”
For Wisconsin vets, no enrollment process is required to benefit and those selected will receive outreach from ForgiveCo. In the next few months.
The partnership will also include investment in the network at Lambeau Field for the 2025 NFL Draft and beyond, ensuring fans can stay connected on gameday and every day.
