There are a lot of games on the calendar for today around Eastern Wisconsin.
The schedule of high school baseball for Friday includes Valders at Howards Grove, Reedsville at Algoma, Chilton hosts Waupun, Denmark heads to New Holstein, Sheboygan North hosts Wausau West for a doubleheader, Plymouth travels to Port Washington, Hilbert entertains Tri-County, while Kewaunee plays Gladstone Michigan, and Escanaba, Michigan in Mauston.
Elsewhere, Seymour heads to Green Bay East/West, Green Bay NEW Luteran hosts Tigerton, Wrightstown welcomes Sturgeon Bay, Hortonville is at West De Pere, Shawano travels to Appleton to play Xavier, Appleton East is home for Beaver Dam, Elkhart Lake/Glenbeulah is at Rio, West Bend West is at Oshkosh West, Fond Du Lac hosts Ripon and there’s some junior varsity baseball with Manitowoc Lutheran hosting West De Pere and Mishicot hosts Freedom in a doubleheader.
The schedule for high school girls softball includes Manitowoc Lutheran travelling to Colburn Park in Green Bay to play Green Bay West/East, Valders is home for Kewaunee, Reedsville plays Loyal in Mauston, Howards Grove hosts Sheboygan Falls/Kohler, Sheboygan North entertains Oostburg, Tri County heads to Hilbert, while Plymouth continues their trip through Tennessee to play Battleground Academy High School.
Also, Ashwaubenon heads to West De Pere, Appleton East hosts Bayport, Fox Valley Lutheran has a short bus ride to Appleton North, Appleton West entertains Kimberly, Stevens Point plays at Neenah, Kaukauna hosts Mosinee, and Slinger travels to Oshkosh North.
It’s a rather light high school girls’ soccer slate for Friday.
Matches include Valders at Elkhart Lake/Glenbeulah, New Holstein hosts Lomira, Green Bay Preble hosts Menasha, Green Bay East travels to Hortonville, Kewaskum is at Cedar Grove/Belgium, Notre Dame of Green Bay plays Marshfield and De Pere battles Ashland.
The match between Roncalli/Two Rivers and Peshtigo in Peshtigo has been postponed until May 29th.
In High School Golf, Kiel meets Ripon at Quit Qui Oc in Elkhart Lake, and Breeze Lake Country Club in Winneconne hosts a multi-school junior varsity meet.
Schools scheduled to compete include Reedsville, Denmark and Plymouth.
