Kathleen “Kitty” T. Rosland, 79, of Manitowoc passed away unexpectedly on Wednesday, April 9, 2025 at Froedtert Holy Family Memorial Hospital.
Kitty was born on November 3, 1945 in Manitowoc to Alphonse and Terese (Wellner) Meyer. She was a 1964 graduate of Lincoln High School. On May 7, 1966, she married Peter Rosland at Sacred Heart Church. He preceded her in death on July 8, 2007. Kitty was an Instructional Aid at Manitowoc Public School System and Lakeshore Technical College. Kitty had a big heart and loved her four-legged companions and enjoyed being a dog sitter.
Kitty is survived by her son: Jonathan (fiancé Lori) Rosland, Two Rivers; two brothers and sisters-in-law: Ronald (Jane) Meyer, and David (Cindy) Meyer, both of Manitowoc; and two sisters-in-law and one brother-in-law: Margaret Meyer, Manitowoc and Mary Lynn (Gary) Dufek, Branch. She is further survived by nieces, nephews, other relatives and friends. Kitty was preceded in death by her parents: Alphonse and Terese Meyer; her husband: Peter Rosland; and two brothers: Matthew Meyer and Thomas Meyer.
A memorial service to celebrate Kitty’s life will be held on Tuesday, April 15, 2025 at 6:00 pm at the Pfeffer Funeral Home, 928 S. 14th Street, with Deacon Al Boeldt officiating. Relatives and friends may greet the family on Tuesday, April 15, 2025 at the funeral home from 4:00 pm until the time of service at 6:00 pm.
