The Sheboygan Visitor Center has named its featured artist of the month.
Kristen Michna of G + H Designs has received the distinction and will have her artwork and crafts displayed at the Visitor Center throughout April.
G + H Designs, named after Michna’s daughters Gwyneth and Hadley, features pieces inspired by unique patterns, scenic locations, and more.
One of the scenic locations that inspires Michna’s work the most is the city of Sheboygan.
Many of her pieces are jewelry featuring Sheboygan staples such as the iconic red lighthouse, sailboats, and surfboards.
Her work consists of handmade polymer clay pieces which are also heavily inspired by Michna’s faith.
Those interested in viewing her work can see it on display at the Visitor Center throughout the month.
Through the featured artist of the month program, Sheboygan’s Visitor Center selects a local artist to highlight and promote on location and via social media.
