
The Mishicot softball team is now on a three-game win streak after taking down Elkhart Lake-Glenbeulah for the second game in a row.
This time, the Indians were on the Resorters’ home diamond, where they picked up a dominant 17-3 five-inning win.
Elkhart Lake-Glenbeulah started hot with a two-run first inning while holding the Indians scoreless through two innings.
Mishicot’s bats came alive in the third, where they tallied five runs, before adding 11 in the 4th, and another in the 5th.
Ace pitcher Kiran Sanford had another great outing, allowing just two hits in her three innings of work while striking out six batters.
Karsyn Krause, Kaelin Adair, and Kasey Brouchoud all recorded home runs in the victory, with Krause and Adair each accounting for 4 RBI.
Emma Schmidt drove home 3 runs, Eva Boness tallied 2 RBI, while Brouchoud and Sanford each batted in 1 run.
Mishicot will try to make it four in a row when they host Chilton at 9:00 Saturday morning, and Valders at 1:00 p.m. as a part of a doubleheader.
