A Two Rivers native who was the senior advisor for the Biden/Harris re-election campaign in Wisconsin is now running to be the Chair of the Democratic Party of Wisconsin.
WisPolitics reports that Former WisDems Executive Director Devin Remiker officially launched his campaign on Thursday, following the announcement that current Chair Ben Wikler would not be seeking another term.
Remiker was named the Executive Director of the party in 2022, when Wikler said he was doing “a dynamite job.”
In his announcement, Remiker said, “I’m running for WisDems chair because now isn’t the time to hit pause or rebuild, it’s time to fight tooth and nail. I will be ready on Day One to double down on our successes and make needed changes.”
Remiker currently serves as a senior advisor for WisDems, where he led the party’s People v. Musk campaign.
