The busiest highway in Sheboygan County will be closed for multiple hours over the next two days.
The Wisconsin Department of Transportation has announced that Interstate 43 southbound will be closed today (April 14th) from 8:00 a.m. to 3:00 p.m. at State Highway 42.
The closure will again be in place tomorrow (April 15th) at the same time and location as crews will be working to repair a beam guard on the southbound lane.
While the repair work is being completed, motorists are asked to find alternate routes of travel as the southbound lane will be closed entirely.
All maintenance operations are weather-dependent and subject to change.
