Milwaukee police are investigating a fatal single-vehicle crash that occurred Sunday morning near North Doctor Martin Luther King Drive and Galena Street.
The driver, a 44-year-old man, was taken to a nearby hospital, where he later died.
A 46-year-old passenger was also hospitalized with injuries that are not life-threatening.
Police believe that excessive speed played a role in the crash.
No other vehicles were involved.
