Active8 Sheboygan has announced the return of one of its events aimed at empowering local community projects.
The 11th rendition of Sheboygan Support Our Urban Projects, commonly known as Sheboygan SOUP, will be held on May 8th from 5:30 to 7:30 p.m. at 3 Sheeps Brewing Company.
Sheboygan SOUP, a community-based crowdfunding event, looks to bring residents together to share and support ideas that will improve the City of Sheboygan.
At the event, up to five community members will present a short pitch about a project they feel benefits the city.
Attendees are required to donate a minimum of $5 at the door, which will fittingly include a soup dinner.
The small donation will allow those in attendance the chance to vote on their favorite project.
The project to receive the most votes will get 100 percent of the proceeds made from donations.
