A Wisconsin teen already facing charges for allegedly killing his mother and stepfather is now accused of plotting to assassinate former President Donald Trump.
Unsealed federal documents reveal that 17-year-old Nikita Casap is believed to have murdered his parents to fund the plan.
Authorities say he later fled across several states before being apprehended in Kansas.
According to FBI records, Casap discussed using a drone equipped with explosives containing metal fragments to attack Trump and then escape to Ukraine.
No specific details on the intended time or location of the plot have been released.
Casap remains in custody and is set to face a jury trial in Waukesha County.
