A Green Bay man has been sentenced to prison time for selling drugs that led to a fatal overdose.
35-year-old Craig W. Redmond was recently sentenced to spend 10 years in prison, followed by 20 years on extended supervision after being found guilty of First-Degree Reckless Homicide – Delivering Drugs during a jury trial.
In the time after he was sentenced, the Appleton Police Department shared details about Redmond’s arrest.
On August 9th, 2023, a 32-year-old man was found deceased in his residence, and authorities determined that a fentanyl overdose was the cause.
A thorough investigation followed, which determined that Redmond had provided the fentanyl responsible for the man’s death.
Initially, the 35-year-old was also charged with Manufacturing or Delivering Fentanyl; however, that charge was ultimately dismissed.
