
There are three Manitowoc County governmental meetings scheduled for today (April 15th).
First up is the Traffic Safety Commission, which will meet in the Sheriff’s Office at 10:00 a.m.
They will review an incident of a vehicle vs. guardrail crash from February 21st, 2025 before reviewing safety concerns at the intersection of Highway 147 and Hillcrest Road, unpermitted signage at County Road XX and Highway 67, and possible signage obstructions at Highways 67 and 57.
Then, at 12:15 p.m., the Criminal Justice Coordinating Council’s Executive Committee will convene in the North Jury Room.
They will get updates on Drug Court, the Manitowoc Youth Intervention Network, and the Access to Courts Committee.
Closing out the day will be the County Board of Supervisors, which will be in the Board Meeting Room at 5:30 p.m.
UW-Extension FoodWIse Coordinator Laura Apfelbeck will give a report on the Manitowoc County Hunger Coalition 2023-24 Food Security Survey, and the Board will address five zoning map amendment requests.
