People living near Milwaukee’s Sherman Park think that a 17-year-old boy shot to death Thursday may have been killed in a fight over a basketball.
The incident was reported shortly before 5:00 p-m at the park’s basketball court.
The victim hasn’t been identified by authorities, but his family says he was a student at James Madison High School.
Deputies with the Milwaukee County Sheriff’s Office say they are interviewing witnesses and trying to piece things together.
They didn’t announce any arrests or say if they are looking for a specific suspect.
