The Valparaiso Crusaders will have a real “Badger look” next season as a second Wisconsin basketball player is transferring to the Missouri Valley Conference school.
Seven-foot sophomore center Joe Hedstrom will join his former Badger teammate Trevor Anderson.
Hedstrom didn’t get a lot of playing time in Madison but he should be busy for Valpo head coach Matt Lottich.
The Crusaders compiled a 10-and-18 record last season, including 7-and-11 in conference games.
Anderson will play point guard and Hedstrom will give Valpo some size inside.
