Marquette head coach Shaka Smart has picked up some size with an inside player who is transferring from Oklahoma.
Kur Kuath is 6′ 10″ and 220 pounds. He’s too slender to push people around, but gets high marks for being mobile and a presence on defense.
He will play for the Golden Eagles in the extra season of eligibility granted by the N-C-A-A.
With the Sooners, Kuath averaged 4.2 points, 2.9 rebounds, and 1.5 blocks-a-game.
He’s said to be a good defender who shoots 55-percent on two-point shots and can disrupt shots on defense.
