Dane County prosecutors have worked out a plea deal with one of the two men accused of killing a University of Wisconsin professor and her husband last year.
An attorney for Alijah Larrue and the district attorney’s office reported a deal had been made during a Tuesday virtual hearing.
Larrue faces two counts of being a party to the crime of first-degree homicide.
Investigators say he was with Khari Sanford on March 31st, 2020 when Sanford shot Beth Potter and Robin Carre to death.
Larrue’s plea hearing is set for May 25th.
Joggers found both victims in the U-W Arboretum. They had been shot in the back of the head.
Sanford has a status conference set for May 11th.
