The Marquette women’s basketball team crushes Loyola of Chicago today (Tuesday), 92-30 in a home matinee for Milwaukee Public School students. The 62 point margin of victory set a new record for Marquette, breaking the old mark of 56 in a 97-41 pounding of Ball State in December of 1993. Twelve Golden Eagles scored, and four of them were in double figures led by Amani Wilborn with 19 points. Marquette used a 28-1 run in the first half to improve its record to 3-2. Abby O’Connor had eleven points and five rebounds for Loyola/Chicago, which has yet to win after dropping its first five games.
