D3 Polls: Oshkosh Women 5th, Whitewater Men 5th

U-W Oshkosh is ranked fifth in the season’s first women’s Division Three basketball poll released today (Tuesday) by “D” Three Hoops Dot Com. The Titans are 5-0 and were ranked eleventh in “D” Three’s preseason poll. U-W Whitewater is 14th in the new poll at 3-0, and Tufts is the women’s Number One at 4-0. Whitewater is the state’s highest ranked men’s team at Number five in their “D” Three poll released Monday — and River Falls is tenth and Oshkosh 18th with Whitman still at Number One. The Oshkosh men play at North Park of the C-C-I-W tonight (Tuesday), and there’s a full schedule of men’s contests in the N-A-C-C.
